Ieyasu Tokugawa armor
Video Mapping

Okazaki City is a beautiful historical city located in the central part of Japan and is famous as the birthplace of one of the greatest samurai, TOKUGAWA IEYASU.

This time, TENOHA EXHIBITION and the digital creative company "HITOHATA" invite you to a special room, visible within the exhibition Stories of Samurai Women, where you can experience the great story of Okazaki and the path of the samurai TOKUGAWA IEYASU, with a beautiful Elaborately reproduced projection mapping on Samurai armor.

The story of the samurai is told through an approximately 5-minute video mapping onto a 2-meter-high replica of the "Kadami Gesoku" armor worn by the legendary shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu during his youth.

The installation will be visible until November 5th.

Free entry until November 26th, find out more on the Cultural Season page.

HITOHATA is a Japanese digital creation company that provides entertainment and combines traditional Japanese culture with visual technologies such as video mapping.
