The acclaimed French author and artist, Benjamin Lacombe, returns in style for all his loyal fans with a series of extraordinary events!

From October 13th to 15th , you will have the opportunity to personally meet Benjamin Lacombe during book signing sessions. You'll even be able to get your hands on a special edition of his book "Stories of Samurai Women", autographed by the author himself and embellished with a personal sketch.

Halloween Week
from 23 to 31 October

The atmosphere of Halloween comes to life thanks to the fascinating stories of samurai women and enigmatic yokai! This week, we invite our visitors, especially the younger ones, to come to the exhibition wearing Halloween-themed costumes and makeup ! We have a special surprise for you: if you show up in a themed costume.
Don't hesitate to ask the classic "trick or treat" question to our staff, you will be rewarded with delicious sweets ( available while supplies last ).

To make the experience even more special, we have made temporary tattoos featuring Benjamin Lacombe's fascinating illustrations available in the gift shop! Furthermore, you will find exclusive limited edition gacha gachas !

Kyudo Trial
October 29th

An extraordinary opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of kyudo , Japanese archery ! In collaboration with the Kyudo Club Insai of Milan, the first Italian club dedicated to Japanese archery, we will offer visitors a truly unique experience on this special day.

The activities will begin at 11.30am with an evocative archery demonstration performed by the Kyudo Club Insai. During this demonstration, club members will emulate the feats and shooting techniques used during the Edo period. For those who can't make it in the morning, don't worry: the demonstration will be repeated at 4:00 pm.

From 12:00 to 20:00, visitors will have the unique opportunity to try out the traditional Japanese bow and shoot an arrow at the target , with the support and expert guidance of the Kyudo Club Insai staff.

Kimono Experience : available until November 26, this experience offers the chance to wear an authentic summer kimono (yukata) and can be combined with the exhibition with the CULTURAL SEASON + KIMONO EXPERIENCE ticket. Find out more here .
